  • Curbside Battery Collection – during the weeks of October 16 and October 23, 2017
During the weeks of October 16 and October 23, place batteries in a clear, resealable bag. Set the bag on your closed organics cart on your recycling day for collection.
  • Textile Tuesday – October 17
Collect your unwanted clothes, linens, towels and shoes and bring them to your closest Community Recycling Centre on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. We'll take them for FREE. Bring as much as you've got. Items will be reused and repurposed.
  • Teachers: Tweet to win!
Attention Peel teachers! During waste reduction week, post photos of your class's waste reduction efforts and hashtag them #wrwPeel and @ mention us @peelregion to win FREE transportation to our cool recycling facility for a tour. See how waste is sorted!
