The Region of Peel’s “Diversity and Inclusion Strategy” helps guide the organization’s approach to diversity – both internally and in the way we service the community. Developed by a cross-departmental project team, the strategy is based on the Region’s experience with its existing diversity program, plus expertise provided by internal and external organizations.
Peel is constantly changing – and this strategy is just the beginning. As the implementation plan unfolds, different initiatives will be launched over the next several years. The mandate is to influence an organizational culture that plans and delivers inclusive and equitable services in support of the Region’s Vision and Mission.
