Congratulations to David Bink, Darren Clarke, Patrick Forgie and Chief Peter Dundas

Today, Peel Regional Council applauded Paramedics David Bink, Darren Clarke and Patrick Forgie for receiving the Governor General's Exemplary Service Medals for Emergency Medical Services (EMS). They earned this prestigious award for completing at least 20 years of outstanding service (with at least 10 of those years involving frontline work that potentially put their lives at risk).

Council also recognized Peel's Paramedic Chief Peter Dundas, this year's recipient of the R.J. Armstrong Leadership Award. Throughout his career, Chief Dundas has championed research to advance pre-hospital medical care; led continuous quality improvements; and contributed to provincial initiatives including Ebola protocols and dispatch reform.

David, Darren, Patrick and Chief Dundas were presented their medals on Sept. 29 by Lieutenant General Richard Rohmer on behalf of Governor General David Johnston.

Congratulations to David, Darren, Patrick and Chief Dundas on their great achievement.
