Find Fresh and Delicious Produce in Peel

Do you know about all the varieties of fruit and vegetables that are grown right here in Peel? With everything from apples to watermelons, and beets to pumpkins, Peel farms and farmers' markets are great places to pick up fresh and flavourful vegetables and fruits. You can also find a wide selection of meats, dairy products and nursery stock too.

The 2017 Grown in Peel Guide features 30 farms, retailers and farmers' markets in Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga, as well as an easy-to-read map with information on the seasonal availability of over 50 fruits and vegetables.

"The Region of Peel is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all residents by encouraging the consumption of fresh, flavourful vegetables and fruits, said Dr. Lawrence Loh, Acting Medical Officer of Health. "We've created a handy guide that makes it easy and fun to discover the variety of produce grown right here in our community.

The Grown in Peel Guide is now available free of charge at Peel libraries, schools and municipal buildings, or you can request a copy by email.
